This type of steel does not interact with food, even with sour products. It is resistant to concentrated acids and bases activity and to high temperatures. The sides of the vessels are 0,7 mm thick (in case of frying pan 0,6 mm thick) what allows them to keep food warm longer. The Selection vessels have three-layer bottom (steel – aluminium – steel) that is 5,7 mm thick (in case of frying pan 4,1 mm thick). It makes that the heat accumulated when heating up spreads over it evenly. The multilayer bottom allows also to maintain the temperature longer after cooking. There is a capacity indicator on the inner side of pots that helps to measure appropriate amounts of liquids.
Frying pans are coated inside with licensed, trusted and safe in contact with food Teflon™ Platinum Plus coat. Teflon™ Platinum Plus is a three-layer coat to of increased resistance to abrasion and scratching. It guarantees frying without sticking. Selection vessels are suitable for all types of cookers, including inductive. They can be also safely used in oven up to 180?C, so they are perfect not only for cooking but also for baking. Lids are made of toughened glass. They have silicone mats between a lid glass and a handle. They protect lid handles against heating up.
